The U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown is the U.S. diplomatic mission to Barbados and six other Eastern Caribbean nations: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It also provides consular services to U.S. citizens in the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla. As the regional post for the Eastern Caribbean, it handles all visa processing, American Citizen Services, trade, and cultural programmes for the area.

The embassy is the primary visa processing post for the entire region it covers. It handles a high volume of nonimmigrant visas for tourism, seasonal work (H-2B), and education, as well as all immigrant visas.

The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit provides services to U.S. citizens across the seven sovereign nations and the British Overseas Territory of Anguilla, including passport renewals, reports of birth abroad, notarial services, and emergency assistance. U.S. citizens in Anguilla should contact the embassy at BridgetownACS@state.gov or +(246) 227-4000 for consular support. The embassy maintains consular agents on some of the other Eastern Caribbean islands to provide localized assistance.
